1 on 1 - Informal Employee Performance Review

How many things can you do as a manager that will quickly produce measurable improvement in employee performance and employee morale? A periodic one-on-one, informal employee performance review with each of your direct reports is one of those things.

Training Points:

·         Planning for recurring one-on-ones.

·         Managing performance reports through a suggested binder-system and other one-on-one related documents.

·         The importance of: SHOWING UP! stats or not stats, binder or no binder!  Always Show Up!

·         What to cover during one-on-ones.

·         Informally reviewing performance.

·         A "Meets" rating is a good thing, not something that is simply unimpressive.

·         How to extract company / process improvements with a simple question.

·         The importance of 180-degree feedback; How are YOU (the manager) doing?

·         The importance of documenting key points, and actions plans discussed during the one on one.

The DVD includes three videos: A short (27-minute) version of 1 on 1, a long (40-minute) version "1 on 1", and "Building Employee Morale: Missed Opportunities," an 18-minute motivational discussion starter based on the *"The Meets Problem."

The training designs, participant handouts, group discussion questions, and individual exercises are all aimed at providing a powerful catalyst to help everyone in the organization understand that personal responsibility is a choice.

Speaker/author BJ Gallagher assissted by animation drives the point that there is no 'they' only 'me' and what 'I' can do.

A very good resource for accountability, attitude, quality and many more.
